Rogre Grease Separators
Rogre Grease Separators – a compact grease separator manufactured in accordance with EN 1825. Manufactured from environmentally friendly material (polyethylene LLDPE), Rogre are very durable, lightweight and resistant against various chemical substances used in kitchens.
The compact design allows for fast and easy underground installation, whilst the large opening gives easy access for maintenance and cleaning.
Rogre Grease separators require low maintenance and deliver long lasting performance making them an ideal choice.
Size Range
Six models are available ranging from 1000 ltr to 7500 Ltr: NG2,4,7,10,15 & 20. All models have a large sealed lid allowing easy access for cleaning.
Installation
Underground grease separator should be located close to the building in areas where release of strong and aggressive odours will not pose a problem and where is possible to access the separator with the disposal hose of the disposal truck. The inlet level must be located below the frost level. The grease separator has to be opened for emptying and cleaning and should be easily accessible for cleaning and maintenance
Do I Need A Underground Grease Trap?
If you have a commercial hot food premises YES you do require a grease trap – see below
If you do not have space to install a underground grease separator you may space for a Aboveground Grease Trap, Undersink or Free Standing Grease Trap
Grease Traps and separators must be fitted in all commercial hot food premises by law. These include Restaurants, Hotels and guest houses, Pubs, bars and cafes, Commercial kitchens, Fast food restaurants and takeaways, Bakeries, Food processing, Hospitals and healthcare facilities, Manufacturing operations and Industrial process applications as per Building Regulations.

2.21 Drainage serving kitchens in commercial hot food premises should be fitted with a grease separator complying with BS EN 1825-1:2004 and designed in accordance with BS EN 1825-2:2002 or other effective means of grease removal.
What Size of Grease Trap do I need
Size of grease trap is determined by number of meals or the maximum possible flow of contaminated water, type of pollution, effluent temperature and detergent use.
Size can calculated by the formula: NG = Qs * fd * ft * fr * fm
Qs – the amount of waste water in l/s
fd – density of grease (if it is greater or lesser than 0.94 g/cm3
ft – temperature factor (if higher than 50 °C, is increased)
fr – detergents factor
fm – increased grease factor
